Inside PNC Park
When people ask about PNC Park, it’s quite simple to describe: it’s the most beautiful, breathtaking ballpark in Major League Baseball, and I am not sure there’s a close second.
Now, there MAY be a close second to some, but walk around the game, from players and coaches to announcers and fans…. you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who does NOT rank the home of the Pirates at the top of their list.
While the Pirates may struggle on the field some years, their home is THE gem of the game of baseball!
Arguing against the North Shore ballpark being the best in baseball may not QUITE be the equivalent of the lone vote against Ichiro or Jeter for the Hall of Fame, but it’s more like being the three votes against Griffey, Jr, the five against Seaver or the six against Nolan.
It’s THAT beautiful!
For those that have never been, my recommendation is simple. Enter behind home plate at the Honus Wagner statue, go up the escalator to the main concourse but do NOT walk to see the field…..yet!
Make a left and take the elevators at section 119 to the top deck of seats and THEN walk out to see the field. I’d actually love to capture some of your reactions and post them on this site. EMAIL ME HERE.
Wanna just hang out and have a beer while paying casual attention to the game? Go to the outfield and drink at “The Landing” or “The Bullpen”.
Wanna take the kids? Enter through the right field gates at the Bill Mazeroski statue and take a tour through the play areas before getting some great ballpark food along the way.
You won’t be disappoint with a trip to PNC Park, the most amazing place in America to watch a baseball game!
