You may be wondering …
Who is Robby Incmikoski?
Fair question. Sometimes my friends ask that same thing!
Somehow, I went from a 12-year-old South Philly kid who became a ball boy for the Philadelphia Eagles, worked in their training room with the legendary Otho Davis and David Price (two guys who taught me about work ethic), to someone who spent 16 seasons as a field reporter/host for television broadcasts with the Minnesota Twins (2009-2012), Pittsburgh Pirates (2013-2023) and Texas Rangers (2024).
Not bad for a kid who used to collect aluminum cans outside The Vet and sneak into Eagles practices in the 1980s.
Additionally, I’ve served as a TV reporter/host for several other teams, including the Phoenix Coyotes, Phoenix Suns, Minnesota Timberwolves, University of Minnesota Hockey, and Minnesota Wild before moving to Pittsburgh.
I have a real passion for ballparks. They connect a baseball team to its city, and let’s be honest, they are pretty freakin’ cool. So during my travels as a field reporter, I took a lot of pictures of all 30 major league stadiums (and now I’m making a book about them).
P.S. Long live the Arizona Sundogs, 2008 Central Hockey League Champions.
